Copthorne pupils and families donated generously towards the Bradford Metropolitan Food Bank Appeal. The charity which relies on donations of food helps thousands of needy families who depend upon the charity for food to eat. As you can see below pupils donated lots of tinned foods, rice, pasta, sauces, sugar and cereals. Thank you for your kind contributions and please continue support all food banks.

The following week a group of our Year Five pupils visited the Food Bank, which is situated inside an old church, to help the volunteers pack some food bags and learn about the charity. The bags are prepared and made ready for quick distribution when needed.
FOOD BANK: BRADFORD CENTRAL
Once again our generous pupils and parents have dug deep and donated 346.55kg of food stuff for the Food Bank Appeal. This year our donations went to the Bradford Central Food Bank which is run by the Trussell Trust, they are based on Jermyn Street in BD1. We hope all the donated goods benefit lots of people in the local area. Thank you to everyone for the amount of donations received this year as you can see it has been excellent response.
