Asian dress / Eid Celebrations at Copthorne.

Children in Need day.  To celebrate this and to raise funds for the charity we had a fun a pyjama day!

National Wear Red Day.  Copthorne pupils and staff ramped up the red for the British Heart Foundation Charity.

It was a special day as the whole school dressed in red to raise money to help fight heart disease.

Science and Education:

Pupils from around school enjoyed an interesting and fun science workshop.  The workshop got pupils thinking about science and how science is integrated into everyday life.

Pupils from Year One enjoyed a day with a visitor from the past ‘Captain Burwash the Pirate’.   The captain is an early 18th century pirate who tells exciting tales about Sea Rovers, Buccaneers and Privateers.  The pupils  were all hooked from the moment they saw the Captain and were instantly engaged.   A fantastically organised and stimulating day, turning the fictional into the very real.   Burwash caught their imagination and certainly got them thinking.  Many thanks for a great day Captain.
